Information You Submit
Search Terms
When a visitor enters a name, location, or other search detail into a search tool, that query is sent to the third-party provider that powers the tool. Prentiss County Inmate Population does not store those search terms in its own official record database because it does not operate one.
Messages
If a visitor emails or sends a contact message, the submitted details may be kept long enough to read, route, and answer the message. Those messages are not shared outside the organization unless disclosure is required by law.

Outside Links and Public Records
This site links to sheriff pages, jail information, court portals, Mississippi Department of Corrections resources, federal locators, ICE resources, VINE/SAVIN, and third-party search tools. Once a visitor leaves this site, the outside site's own privacy rules and data practices apply.
Public records linked from government sources may be governed by Mississippi public-records law, including the Mississippi Public Records Act, Miss. Code Ann. Section 25-61-1 and related procedures in Section 25-61-5. Those laws do not control this private site's analytics, advertising, or partner search tools.
Advertising partners may use cookies or similar technologies on their own systems to understand activity across websites and show interest-based ads.
